**Technical Training Specialist Lead - Icon Group**

Permanent, Full-Time - Ability to be based remotely (proximity to our head office in Brisbane is desirable but not necessary)

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage content of Internet, Intranet/SharePoint sites associated with IT training
- Coordinate information design and review of eLearning and instructor lead materials on IT training
- Review and develop existing IT training material
- Produce web-based training courses, videos, photos, and technically written documents
- Deliver stand-out IT training for new employees
- Collaborate with all IT functions, developing comprehensive IT training programs to ensure continuous improvement
- Deliver direct coaching sessions and train the trainers
- Create eLearning modules to maximize common issues captured in Problem Management through ITSM (FreshService)
- Occasionally travel to other locations to support IT training and project initiatives
- Support national projects and software enhancements when required
- Provide support and guidance to ensure timely and quality customer service
- Own recruitment, interviews of new Technical Training Specialists
- Building and maintaining relationships with key business stakeholder
- Provide feedback and suggestions for continual improvement
- Maintaining technical documentation, reports and records regarding IT Training
- Develop training programs to be delivered in a variety of formats e.g., in person, via video/audio/screen share and via eLearning or digital formats

**About you**:
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can effectively prioritise IT training requirements, identify IT training needs through Problem Management (ITSM) for the organization, supervising trainers' work, and developing effective employee IT training onboarding programs.

**Mandatory requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Certificate 4 in Assessment and Workplace Training
- 3 years of experience as a Training Specialist or similar role
- Competent with Microsoft Visio for the purpose of building workflows and diagrams
- Good knowledge of Windows Technologies including the Operating System and Microsoft 365
- Good user knowledge of Citrix or other software delivery platforms
- Experience working within the ITIL framework desirable
- Knowledge of various training and teaching methods
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and forward plan to ensure work and information is complete and commitments are fulfilled
- Proven ability to work independently while being able to build collaborative relationships to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with customers, clients and colleagues
- Proven time-management skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritise workload meet deadlines, and forward plan to ensure work and information is complete and commitments are fulfilled
- Commitment to personal responsibility, accountable for actions taken and a high attention to detail
- Team leader experience
