**About the role**: As Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer you will take responsibility for the following duties:

- Check the integrity of timesheets, sick and annual leave forms
- Process payroll adjustments
- Update leave registry
- Setup new employees
- Process termination payments
- Interpretation of awards and contracts
- Confidential filing
- Document scanning for individual employee files
- Weekly location reporting
- Update of Payroll, Time & Attendance Systems
- Prepare Group Tax, Payroll Tax and Superannuation payments
- Project Cost Analysis
- Invoices for wages and recoveries intercompany locations
- Payroll journal entries for wages, super & company projects
- General Ledger entries for wages, super & company projects
- Leave liability reporting

Accounts Payable
- Overhead Invoices monthly cheque pay run
- Overhead Invoices entry and reporting
- EFT payment processing
- Credit Card Reconciliation and payments
- Maintain legal costs analysis
- Running Cost Reports
- Petty Cash management
- Phone Bill payments and reporting
- Cheques Ordering and registry
- Due Diligence Invoice entries
- Overhead supplier filing
- Vehicle fleet admin management
- Cheque Listings registry entry

Due to the high levels of interaction this role has with company employees, the position is based in the CBD office (not working from home).
- At least 5 years Payroll & Accounts Payable experience
- Excel skills including V Looks Ups/ Pivot tables
- Impeccable communication skills (both verbal & written)
- A strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task/ be adaptable to priorities.
- A confident personality capable of negotiating & influencing those around you.
