Lubrication Technician

**Description**:
The Opportunity
This is a FIFO role (8:6 roster) from Perth.
About the Role
Inspecting the workplace for hazards and promoting safe work practices
Safely and effectively delivering execution of planned & unplanned maintenance activities including lubrication, visual inspections, vibration/oil analysis, thermography and data gathering on fixed plant assets across Duketon
Assist execution team with overhauls including precision requirements, bearing installations, alignment of rotating parts etc
Accurate information documentation on preventative maintenance and work orders ensuring that all tasks, equipment, consumables and further requirements are documented and returned to planning department
Referring unresolved issues and problems to the reliability supervisor or equivalent
Regular stocktakes and audits on hydrocarbon levels and storage
Ensure compliant disposal of waste hydrocarbon and associated items.
**Skills and Experiences**:
About You
Trade qualification preferred
SKF bearing trained - or equivalent (highly regarded)
Shaft alignment trained (highly regarded)
Relevant tickets such as Forklift, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, EWP & Crane/Dogging/Rigging preferred
WA ‘C’ Class drivers licence - must be manual
Demonstrated experience in the mining or heavy industry within a process plant environment
Understanding of generic process plant policies and procedures
Knowledge and experience with maintenance management systems
Proven understanding of risk assessment and management systems.
