**About the role**

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Workshop Technician is responsible for the provision of; safe, efficient and compliant diagnostic, maintenance and component replacements services to the Division’s customer base. The salary range for this role is between AU $80,000 to AU $90,000.

**Duties**:

- Inspect plant and equipment for conformity
- Operate workshop equipment
- Repair damaged or faulty parts
- Lubricate plant and equipment
- Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team
- Carry out a high standard of work
- Help mentor apprentices
- Strip down & rebuild of components

**Skills and Experience**:

- Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant, Light Vehicle, Fitter/Turner or Highway Trucks or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience with Liebherr machines or similar.
- Liebherr mining equipment experience advantageous
- High Risk Licence LF & DG & EWP, WAH ticket advantageous
