Pool Lifeguard

North Star Holiday Resort a multi-award-winning holiday resort in Hastings Point and is currently looking to fill multiple pool lifeguard positions. Do you have a passion for the tourism industry and excellent customer service skills? If so, a position at North Star Holiday Resort may be for you.
The applicant must have a current pool lifeguard qualification or be willing to obtain and competencies including First Aid and Work with Children Check. Don't have your pool lifeguard qualification but are willing to obtain it?
We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, reliable, fully qualified lifeguard to look after Sammy’s Adventure Lagoon our Splash Park and Super slide area. This position is responsible for overseeing the general operation of the pool.

This casual position will deliver a range of services including but not limited to:

- Supervision of resort guests to Australian Lifeguard Aquatic Standards
- Assisting guests entering and exiting the Sammy’s Adventure lagoon, the Water Super Slides and the pool area
- Provide exceptional customer service through information and advice to our guests on the facilities and services
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Enforce pool safety standards, information on North Star Policy and the ability to recognise hazards and address them in a reasonable manner
- Work cooperatively and effectively as a team member by communicating and contributing information on a continual basis

This position is mostly weekdays (15-30 hours per week) with some weekend and public holidays and an excellent hourly rate is offered.
