**Your Impact**

This role will see you supporting production operations and taking accountability for all aspects of the production performance during a shift ensuring production units meet performance goals.

Additionally, you will be tasked with supporting organisational change strategies across the unit to drive project deliveries and continuous improvement initiatives.

As our operation is 24/7, this role will require you to work both morning and overnight shifts.

**The opportunity**:
Other key responsibilities include:

- Optimises production performance and processes ensuring production requirements are blended in accordance with the published production plan.
- Complete all administration work for the shift as required.
- Manage crewing and performance development of packing shift resources in accordance with HR policies and procedures.
- Ensures the execution of the production plan.
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of plans that produce required outcomes, including materials, machine maintenance and subordinate deployment.
- Ensure quality of product/process within assigned work areas
- Assists with investigation of consumer and/or customer complaints (internal and external) as required.
- Control raw material inventory for specific process activities and reports usage for appropriate replenishment.
- Identify and alert others of opportunities for continuous improvement of operating processes.
- Manage cost implications related to performance, labour and overtime.
- Coach, mentor and lead teams to work collaboratively.

**About You**

A passionate leader who holds proven leadership experience with a FMCG manufacturing environment, with the ability to solve problems, foresee risks and who is able to work collaboratively with all levels of the manufacturing process.

Additionally, you will
- Ideally hold a Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Have knowledge of Business operations including GMP and SOP’s, together with ISO and HACCP principles
- Well-developed computer skills (SAP / MS Office / Dynamics / MYOSH).
