Our international client is hiring for experienced Transport Allocators in Victoria. Currently based in Altona, this company operates throughout Australia, New Zealand and China and is a first choice for many national, international and local businesses.

**The Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience to join the clients close-knit team. You will be responsible for scheduling and route planning of deliveries and organizing the sub-contractors with any surplus work. With 60% of their own trucks and 40% subcontracted out, you will be allocating jobs to 10 trucks, as well as carrying out maintenance and repairs.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Promotion of WHS practices and a safe working environment
- Working to KPIs and reporting
- Forming lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working with booking systems would be an advantage but training can be provided
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs
**About you**
- Geographical knowledge of Victoria and route planning
- Organized and results orientated
- Ability to use initiative and be proactive in decision-making skills
- Proven 3 years’ experience managing company drivers and vehicles
- Strong attention to detail
