Connect3i is hiring and we are looking for an experienced
**Security Technician** to work directly with our clients and join their expanding teams This position is based in Canberra or Sydney.

**About the Role**

We are looking for motivated consultants with a background in Security Technicians who love to work hard and make a real difference to their project teams. This role will see you take the lead on new ICT opportunities within the AIR, LAND and SEA domains.

**Responsibilities include**:
- Development, build and implementation of complex Cyber solutions, including:

- Integration of complex ICT infrastructure software with Security products
- Proactive maintenance and upgrade of Cyber tools
- Assist with Development and Building defect remediation
- Creation and peer review of Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs) and build guides

**About You**
- Highly developed knowledge of security principles including; Zero trust model, Tiered model, and Security Boundaries
- Experience with Security products in the following Cyber areas: - Network Security incl Firewalls and NAC, Endpoint Security, Privileged Access - Management, Security monitoring, Logging and Auditing, Application - Whitelisting, Device Control
- Knowledge of Fortinet or Cyberark products
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, good communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Hold or have the ability to gain and maintain an NV2 security clearance or higher
