With two large production facilities in Braeside, a third currently under development, and 17 retail outlets across Melbourne, our business is recognised for its commitment to quality and innovation. As a rapidly growing and dynamic company, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at the Braeside production site. This vital role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our manufacturing equipment and machinery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair production machinery, including mixers, ovens etc.
- Diagnose faults and perform timely repairs according to factory requirements.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and preventative maintenance such oiling to ensure minimum levels of machinery down time.
- Interpret technical diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting and repair.
- Coordinate with external contractors and manage parts ordering as required.
- Prioritise and manage daily maintenance tasks and respond to internal work orders.
- Develop, implement, and update the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Safely carry out manual handling duties.
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across all maintenance activities.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant trade qualifications (minimum Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade and Fitting).
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance or mechanical fitting role.
- Have knowledge and experience with bakery production machinery is highly regarded.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to work in varied environments, including warm and freezer areas, and perform tasks involving standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.

Pay: $95,000.00 per year
