**Job Description**:
We are seeking a highly motivated Quality and Safety Coordinator, based in Perth Airport, WA., to oversee the laboratory quality system and ensure all laboratory equipment is in calibration and that all laboratory and fieldwork is completed in line with SGS Environmental Services quality and service agreements and to provide technical support to operations as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- To take local responsibility for the QHSE and OIMS System on behalf of the National QHSE Manager
- Organise and/or carry out internal audits including publishing an annual audit schedule.
- Organise and facilitate Nata and other external audits.
- Coordinate and assist with all internal/external communication relating quality and audits.
- Coordinate and maintain the quality protocols/criteria in SLIM, this will include updating quality KPI values in SLIM.
- Train local staff in Quality and Safety matters.
- Monitor method validation procedures and maintain validation records.
- Ensure laboratory calibrations and local quality documentation are in date.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of WA regulatory Health & Safety requirements.
- Appropriate Tafe or Tertiary qualification in Chemistry or related field.
- Sound commercial laboratory experience.
