**The Job**

**About You**

You must come with experience working in a similar role as an underground utility services locator.

Plus:

- Working experience with subsurface utility detection, location, marking and verifying, utilizing a broad range of industry technologies such as Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), SONDE, Electro-magnetic Locating Device (wands), etc.;
- Experience in safely using a variety of techniques such as potholing and non-destructive digging;
- Strong understanding of asset locating requirements, asset restrictions and obtain asset plans;
- Strong understanding of the Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) service;
- Ability to understand and interpret a broad range of utility asset owner plans and diagrams;
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team;
- High motivation to complete work on time and to the highest standard; and
- White Card and WA Driver’s License class C.

**It would be highly valued if you have the following**:

- RIICCM202D Identify, Locate and Protect Underground Services accreditation;
- DBYD Locator accreditation; or
- Experience using vacuum excavation methods
