DCL Engineering Group is an Australian owned Company that has been servicing the industry in mechanical breakdown repairs and engineering for over 60 years, servicing customers through DCL's divisions - Engineering, Gearbox Repairs/Overhauls & Surface Engineering.

About the role

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated mechanical Fitter to join our modern 8,400 square metre facility located in Western Sydney at Fairfield East. You will be responsible for the safe operation - WH&S of all machinery & tooling.

Your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and proficiently
- Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed, including timekeeping, site objectives and actively taking part in health and safety

Skills and experience

To be successful for this role, you will need:

- Fitting/Machining trade qualification - min 10 years service
- Gear Box and rotary equipment experience preferred - machinery overhaul
- Proficient machining skills
- Excellent understanding of working with and fitting bearings and seals.
- A high regard for exceeding quality and production standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fairfield East, NSW 2165: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (required)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
