About Our Centre

Busy Bees at Mermaid Waters is a 98-place centre providing a warm, secure, and engaging space for children to grow and flourish.
Our passionate team of educators is dedicated to giving every child the best start in life through high-quality care, strong relationships, and a love of learning.

Your Role as an Educator

In this role, you will:
- Create safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environments- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate programs- Support each child’s development and learning journey- Build strong, respectful relationships with families- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and frameworks

Essential Qualifications:
- Certificate III, Diploma, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)- Valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)- Current First Aid Certificate (including Asthma & Anaphylaxis training)

Skills & Attributes:
- Knowledge of child development and learning milestones- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Ability to create and evaluate meaningful, play-based experiences- Respect for diversity and inclusive practices- Confidence using digital tools for planning and documentation (desirable)
