**About the Opportunity**
Great opportunity for interested **Fabrication Apprentice **to work with **HRC Alliance Pty Ltd** who specialise in the fabrication of the highest quality stainless steel benchwork, commercial refrigerators and equipment for the catering and hotel industries.
You will be working in a modern factory with great facilities and up to date CNC Equipment and get involved in site repair and installation work as well.
You will get to learn all aspects of fabrication manufacturing while working on a variety of machinery including tig and mig welding, cutting, and folding and polishing sheet metal, and learning to read drawings.
**Duties** include but are not limited to:
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Taking receipt of material
- cutting and prepping material for assemble (band saw, guillotine, press brake, plasma cutting etc.)
- Produce high end quality items - Must be millimetre perfect
- Assist with repairs across a range of metal finishes
- Positioning material in storage location
- Reading and working off technical drawings
- Learning to work with a variety of metal fabrication machinery
- General hand tool work such as grinding, cutting, polishing, drilling, etc
- Tacking and welding sub assembled steel sections and fully assembled steel structures
- Sanding and grinding material
- Material handling
**About You**
- Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- The willingness to listen and learn
- A passion for a career in Metal Fabrication
- Excellent communication skills
- An eye for detail and Safety conscious
- Punctuality and reliability
- White Card preferred
- Minimum Year 10 education completed with an aptitude for Maths and English
