**About the opportunity**

The Community Relations and Partnership Manager is responsible for helping to protect and enhance Australia Post’s reputation and its social licence to operate through managing community programs and partnerships that proactively establish mutually beneficial relationships for community partners other community stakeholders and Australia Post.

This role is instrumental in developing and delivering on the Community Partnerships and Programs Strategy and managing the strategic community partnerships for the enterprise. This role will also be responsible for working with the communications and marketing teams to develop campaigns to strengthen Australia Post's reputation through the community activity.

**You’ll be**
**responsible**
**for**:

- Manage strategic Community Partnerships for the enterprise
- Develop multiyear strategic plans and annual plans for each partnership aligned to business and brand objectives
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with individual partnerships including the negotiation of contracts, ongoing management and maximisation of associated assets and benefits, planning and review
- Work in partnership with the Retail, Brand, Marketing and Communications teams to develop and deliver marketing and communications plans to support the community strategy and enhance the brand and reputation of Australia Post
- Develop and deliver workforce and community engagement programs as part of the community partnership programs of work in conjunction with relevant stakeholders
- Work with partners to deliver social impact for communities and our people
- Develop and deliver world class enterprise sponsorship initiatives for staff, community and customers to enhance Australia Post’s brand, reputation and market profile and deliver on our enterprise strategy
- Work In collaboration with the business to identify and execute initiatives that deliver against our CSR plan

**About you**

You have a passion for making a positive impact to the lives of Australians; particularly those who are disadvantaged. You are a communications, marketing or community engagement specialist, action-oriented and great at building strong relationships with your stakeholders internally and externally. You also love managing a team and supporting your team to grow and thrive.

**What are we looking for**:

- 5+ years of experience in sponsorship and partnership management
- Proven track record of delivering, managing and leveraging partnerships across large and complex organisations
- Team management skills
- Strategic planning and development
- Financial P&L management of budgets
- Community partnership strategy development experience
- Communication engagement strategy experience
- Experience in navigating, collaborating and influencing stakeholders within a large matrix organisation
- Highly developed communication and writing skills
- Highly developed commercial and relationship management skills
