**Waste Operations Technical Officer (Dalby)**: Reference Number: 1604 Closing Date: 03-10-2024 Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Location: Dalby Corporate Office Level 3 **About the Opportunity** Council is seeking a Waste Operations Technical Officer who will provide operational and technical support to the Waste Operations team. This includes the facilitation of the operation of all facilities in a cost effective manner, to assist with on ground service delivery activities and to develop and implement continuous improvements to Council's waste operations. You will be: - Interacting with customer when interacting on site and when following up compliance issues; - Monitoring site footage for compliance and waste levy verification purposes; - Delivering community information and assistance for new sites as commissioned or planned for expansion; - Undertaking compliance activities in accordance with relevant legislation and audit requirements; - Providing and analysing levy data including volumetric surveys, material movements between RRA and Leviable Area; **About yourself** - Current QLD "C" Class Drivers Licence This role is full time, working 36.25 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO. **The benefits working for WDRC**: **_ Work / life balance_** We understand the importance of balance.
