**Front of House Store Manager**

**About the role**:
As the Front-of-house Manager, you will lead and take accountability for the successful day-to-day running of the retail section of the bakery. This will require you to shape the culture of the front-of-house team and maintain the exceptional presentation of the store to customers. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the needs of our customers are met and act as the intermediary between the front-of-house team and the bakery team.

**Key duties include**:

- Communicate specials, products and the Baker Bleu production process with customers and staff
- Maintaining a clean & organised shop front, ensuring grocery shelving and merchandise is cleaned, rotated, and restocked
- Delegate and give instructions to team members
- Manage ongoing and daily team performance
- Encourage and maintain the training of shop staff
- Oversee work-health and safety of the shop front, work areas and equipment
- Manage store open and closing procedures for the front-of-house, including setting up cash registers and POS systems
- Liaise with community stakeholders

To be successful in this role you should have previous experience in a retail or food management role. You will have excellent communication skills in dealing with staff and the public. You will have the ability to organise your time well and manage multiple priorities, which may involve delegating tasks to others. You should have basic knowledge of accounting, stock and inventory management, work health and safety and human resources (such as training, new employee inductions, giving feedback and managing performance).

Baker Bleu can offer the ideal highly competitive above award wages, ongoing training and opportunities for career progression. Unlike many retail bakery outlets, there are no before the sunrise shift starts or late-night finishes.

Depending on experience, the full-time salary equivalent for this role (as an hourly rate) is between $60,000-72,000 plus superannuation and performance-based incentives.
