Sydney, Australia WSP Australia Full time

Due to some recent Major Project wins in **Transport, our Roads, Airport and Civil** team is looking to hire **Civil Drafters / Technicians (at various levels)** to join our **Sydney** team on a Full Time, Part Time or Fixed Term Contract.

**Overview of the role**:

- Prepare concise engineering drawings from sketches and design information unassisted
- Undertake reviews of engineering drawings to ensure compliance with CAD standards and Quality Systems
- Manage and monitor the quality of work performed by others and promote a culture of technical excellence through mentoring and training less experienced drafters
- Fulfil Project Drafter role - manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, including planning and controlling of deliverables, resource management and maintaining communication between engineering and drafting staff on the project
- Possess appropriate time management skills and flexibility to allow for the management of a varying workload
- Actively assist colleagues in achieving improved client feedback results, enhance satisfaction and exceed client expectations

**What we’ll love about you**:

- Civil Drafters with +5 years’ experience
- RMS Roads and Highways experience
- Good Microstation and /or AutoCAD Skills
- ProjectWise working knowledge preferable
- Works well in a busy and at times pressured environment
- Team orientated individual
- Time management skills and work motivated
- Excellent communication skills - including written and spoken
