The Role

Our Ridge street Processing site services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural and processed cheeses. These include the renowned Bega cheese blocks
- mild, tasty, and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger slice cheeses and an exciting new Lactose range.

Casual Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving pallets of cheese, materials or stock to and from storage, loading docks, or other areas related to the plant using a forklift.

The incumbent will be working on a 2-week rotating schedule of Day and Afternoon Shifts, from Monday to Friday or Night Shift Sunday to Friday. You will be required to be available during these hours:
- Day Shift: 6AM - 2PM- Afternoon Shift: 2PM-10PM- Night Shift: 10PM - 6AM

Responsibilities- Reporting of all safety incidents and issues- Accurate completion of Forklift Daily Check and all quality-related documentation- Inspect, Identify and reject non-conforming loads & racking- Ensure timely and complete delivery of loads and correct scanning to control stock- Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures

About you- Experience in a manufacturing /warehouse environment- Valid Forklift license (good to have)- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn- Basic computer literacy skills and Problem-Solving Skills- Excellent communication and collaboration to work with drivers and staffs.
