Key Responsibilities:

- Strip, clean, and assess parts/components.
- General assembly of parts/mechanical components.
- Assisting welders as required in the setup and clean-up of the workshop.
- Basic use of hand/power tools as required.
- Operating an overhead crane and forklift safely.
- Painting components.

Key Requirements:

- Ability to operate an overhead crane (crane ticket highly regarded).
- Manual car license and reliable transport.
- Proven experience in a similar environment assisting trades and engineering.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills.
- Ability to work up to 12-hour days when on a shutdown.
- Attention to detail as well as a commitment to safety.
- Experience in basic hand tool use.
- High-risk license, including forklift ticket, confined space, and working at heights.
- Rio Tinto Induction (highly regarded).
- Fire Attack - desired but not essential.
- Some flexibility for site work is required during maintenance periods.
