**Kinetic Logging Services Pty Ltd** is a division of EPIROC and is a leading supplier of Geophysical Services in Australia, with offices in Perth, Newman and Brisbane.

Based in Kewdale, we are seeking a **Trades Assistant** on a **permanent, full time basis**, to join our manufacturing team

Support the Fabricator/Fitters in the assembly and installation of custom components in our Semi-Autonomous vehicle **OreSight**, and manually operated **Geophys Vehicle**. Both vehicles provide Geophysical Data to our major clients

**About the Role**:
As a **Trades Assistant**, you will join a dynamic team and receive exposure to the full assembly of Epiroc KLS's unique vehicles

**Potential to progress to Apprentice Fitter after successful probationary period will be offered depending on performance**

Your Key Tasks will involve:

- Ongoing assistance in the mechanical maintenance of our vehicles;
- Perform assembly and manufacturing tasks under supervision;
- Read, interpret and follow drawings;
- Position and hold products to enable work to be carried out;
- Operate all mobile plant and lifting equipment;
**About you**:
You may want to become a Qualified Mechanical Fitter and secure long term job security in a Unique Mining Technology Services Company OR you may want to stay as a Trades Assistance
- 1 year previous experience in a similar role/industry;
- Exposure to fabricating in a relevant trade - highly desirable
- Good mechanical aptitude;
- A good level of fitness;
- High attention to detail in following instructions and procedures;
- Have a quality focus;
- Intermediate computer skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Eager to grow with a United and Inspired Company

**Applicants must**:

- Be able to pass initial and on-going Drug and Alcohol screening
