Go for gold and start your career in mining by joining our 12-week Summer Vacation Program where you will be an integral part of the ongoing Northern Star success story and our portfolio of world-class projects.

Our Vacation Program opportunities run over the 12-week summer break and have been designed to provide you with practical hands-on experience where you can put your studies to practice. You will have the opportunity to earn whilst you learn

As a Northern Star Vacation Student, you will learn from some of the best mining experts in the industry. We provide site-based placements with both Fly-in, Fly-out (FIFO) and residential options across multiple operations. You will also have the option to choose between Open Pit, Underground and Exploration.

If you are a second or penultimate year student in any of the following disciplines with a genuine interest to work in the mining industry, we strongly encourage you to apply:

- Mining Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Geology
- Mine Surveying
- Metallurgy
- Environmental

As part of our Vacation Program, you will have:

- Paid first-hand practical work experience at multiple sites with residential and FIFO roles on offer
- Choose between Underground, Open Pit or Exploration opportunities
- Professional mentoring from industry leading mining experts
- A fast-tracked pathway to our Graduate Program once you complete your studies
- Opportunities for ongoing employment throughout the year
