In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components.
- Assist with the completion of required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Complete training in line with skill and business requirements to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues/incidents to the supervisor promptly.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
We are looking for a talented **Mechanical Technician - Heavy Diesel** to join our team in **Wetherill Park, Sydney.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:
- Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
- Diagnose and repair various engines
- Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
**Experience**:
- Minimal level of workshop experience required
- Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
**To be successful in this role you will need the following**:
- Australian recognised Trade certificate (Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel or Plant)
- Cummins, VOLVO, Kenworth, Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable

- Willing to learn Cummins products, attend online and class base training
- Customer focused and willing to work minimum overtime when required
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area and toolbox.
- Have good attention to detail and enthusiasm to deliver the customer with a quality repair.
- Engine rebuild and major experience preferred but not essential.
- Experience with the Cummins product is preferred but not essential.
