Yiasou Do you know about Greek Culture and know how to speak the language? Labrina is looking for volunteers who can provide companionship with their fellow Greeks.
Being able to converse in their native language can help residents:
- keep up their practice of the language,
- feel included and understood,
- help them reminisce.
We want to hear from you Let us know if you love Greek culture and want to give back to the community through volunteering. If you don’t know Greek, Labrina is still looking for volunteers for 1:1 companionship and walks and talks.
**Time commitment**
We are looking for volunteers who can be available either in the morning between 10am-11:45am or in the afternoon between 1pm to 4:30pm on any day of the week. Any amount of time you can give, whether it’s a few days a week or a few hours a month, is valuable for our community and much appreciated.
