With sophisticated manufacturing facilities, retail stores, and professional trade representation throughout Australia and New Zealand, Stratco has supplied a comprehensive range of products to the building and construction industries, and home improvement and DIY markets for over 75 years. **THE OPPORTUNITY** An exciting opportunity has become available for a **Sales Support Officer** based in **Huntingwood.** This is a great opportunity for a flexible and customer-focused person to become an integral part of our company. This position involves working as part of our collaborative trade sales team - reporting to the Trade Sales Manager. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Stratco** is looking for a bright and talented individual who has a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude. As a key member of the trade sales team your role will include: - Prepare accurate and detailed quotes for customer orders - Proactively monitor orders, promptly communicating any delays to builders - Liaising with sales teams and trade customers on product selections and problem solving - General customer service and sales support - Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required - Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment **ABOUT YOU** - Experience in an estimating role or a related trade qualification (advantageous) - Excellent computer and data entry skills - Strong customer focus with an eye for detail and a sense of urgency to achieve results - Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills - Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on attitude with a "can do" approach - Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace - Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart **OUR PHILOSOPHY** Whilst manufacturing is our foundation, our team is our future.
