The role of the Content Editor is to bring the voice of Sheet Society to life, and to write copy that makes our audience laugh, think, and most importantly, want to snuggle up in bed with our products.

Working in close collaboration with the creative team, the Content Editor reports to the Brand Marketing Manager to bring the marketing strategy to life through strategic story-telling across all communication channels.

But it isn’t just about executing deliverables, this role is responsible for championing our Tone of Voice and empowering everyone at Sheet Society to speak on behalf of our brand.

This role is for someone who is as excited about creative copy as they are passionate about the strategic thinking behind it, and sees the opportunity to create brand magic with words.

Copywriting
- Produce content from the Sheet Society persona, embodying our brand, and creating copy that adheres to and elevates our tone of voice and our values. You will create engaging copy that stops the reader in their tracks (or their scroll), grabs their attention, and inspires them to take action - whether that’s to add to cart or stay in bed.

Brand Voice Guidelines
- Be the champion for the Sheet Society brand voice.
- Ensure the Sheet Society brand guidelines are up to date, revising regularly to include any pop culture nuances or regional specifics as we continue our global expansion.
- Educate the broader Marketing Team, and business, to ensure all team members understand and can deliver to the Sheet Society voice.

Campaign
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ideate campaign messages and story-telling. Consistently pushing the boundaries of the Sheet Society Tone of Voice in a quest for the most relatable, engaging words that help bring our product to life.

eCommerce
- Partner with the eCommerce team to develop a cohesive way of working, to ensure SEO informs all onsite copy.
- Produce all website copy, ensuring collection pages, product descriptions, and category pages are consistently executed across the site, and always up-to-date.

Product & Packaging
- Work collaboratively with the product teams to ideate product names, and provide copy for product packaging and supporting collateral - adhering to all manufacturing and compliance mandatories.

Administration
- Deliver all copy on time, managing tasks and team collaboration via our workforce management platform, ASANA.
- Ensure that any changes to scope or deadlines are reflected and that the relevant stakeholders are always informed.
- Inform and collaborate on briefing templates and processes, to ensure workflow continues to evolve, as we do.

Leadership
- Whilst not a leadership role, we believe every role should lead by living and breathing the Sheet Society values - Good Humans, Driven Dreamers, Humble Hustlers and Support Crew.
- Being a role that engages and collaborates with various teams across the business, stakeholder management and a collaborative and solution-focused approach are key to being successful in this role.

Skills & Attributes required for this role:

- You’re a well-seasoned writer and storyteller, with 3-5 years experience in a content or copywriting role. You have the ability to form a narrative and create an emotional connection in everything you write.
- You’re experienced in producing content for retail and consumer lifestyle brands.
- You have a strong understanding of the paid media landscape, formats and best-practice messaging.
- You have a love for all things grammar, and impeccable attention to detail.
- You put yourself in the shoes of our customers and know what copy they’ll connect to. You have a good sense of humour and know how to speak to both customers externally as well as stakeholders internally.
- You’re generally a friendly human, able to brainstorm with our team and collaborate on ideas.
