**Health Centre Manager**

Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a Health Centre Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of operational priorities, providing management and oversight of all three Health Centres across the School. This role is responsible for supporting the health needs of students in the Boarding House and, during the school day, providing health care to day students and staff. With direct oversight of compliance and resourcing, this position will coordinate the whole School First Aid and emergency response procedures.

The Health Centre Manager will also support the Nurses by providing primary health care to students (approx. 0.5 FTE load), as well as health education and associated administrative duties (approx. 0.5 FTE load).

**Context**

Melbourne Grammar Health Centres provide health related services to approximately 1900 students across three centres located at Grimwade House, Wadhurst and Senior School and Boarding. The Health Centres service the needs of 100 students in Boarding and approximately 1800 day students across Grimwade, Wadhurst and Senior School.

**You will**
- Lead and manage Health Centre staff to ensure prompt medical response, consistent practices, and readiness for emergency situations across the school.
- Oversee service delivery and professional standards, including staff induction, policy implementation, and risk management in collaboration with the School Risk Manager.
- Provide confidential and up-to-date medical care to students, support health planning for camps and excursions, and liaise with external health professionals as needed.
- Maintain accurate health records, manage equipment and supplies, oversee incident reporting and audits, and support staff training in first aid and emergency procedures.
- Deliver first aid and medical assistance to students and staff, advise on ongoing health conditions, and coordinate hospital transport when necessary.
