You will be responsible for conducting a high volume of work within tight timelines, and communicating with stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Analyse a range of data and produce reports, dashboards, assess issues, identify and recommend options of appropriate research techniques
- Provide information, research, advice for internal projects
- Implement and maintain data analytics and workflow efficiencies
- Prepare written documentation including, briefs, speaking notes and research reports/analysis to support to key stakeholders and agencies.
- Assist in the preparation of team core documents including the Business Plan, Risk
- Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders to manage change, risk management and resolve issues impacting successful delivery
- Provide data-analysis on a range of documentation (including reports, project proposals, correspondence and submissions.
- Identify and propose solutions to issues and support the delivery of outcomes in a timely and effective manner.
- Contribute to the establishment and continuous improvement of data collection systems to support business and policy needs of the department
- Build, develop and maintain data reporting and template tools to enable and support analysis.

**Skills/ Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in Mathematics, Statistics, Planning, Architecture, Building, Construction or a related field is essential.
- Proficient in SQL, SPSS (or similar) with a strong understanding of analytical techniques such as regression, cluster and cohort analysis is desirable
- Expertise in Advanced Excel and Visual Basic is essential. Other experience in SPSSS, PowerBi, Tableau, Mapinfo and AUTOCAD would be advantageous.
- Knowledge or proficiency in Python, R, or SQL and the use of digital tools, such as Jira, Sharepoint, Visio and similar would be preferred.
- Expertise in Advanced Mapinfo and Map Basic is essential. Other experience in SPSSS, PowerBi, Tableau and AUTOCAD would be advantageous

To be successful, you must be able to demonstration your capabilities in relation to building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, work planning and organisational skills.
