
Application Fraud Investigations Analyst

**About the Role**
- The Fraud Investigator position is responsible for managing a large case load, including complex and protracted Fraud Investigations of Mule, ID Takeover & Falsified Credit Applications, from all divisions within the BOQ Group.
- Identify fraud patterns/fraud trends and contribute to the development of improved awareness of fraud trends and development of controls, policies and procedures.
- Maintain effective relationships with relevant third parties (eg. customers, suppliers, regulators) to produce successful business results.
- Comply with all policies and delegations applicable to the activities and decisions required in this role.
- Provide insight and act as a SME in the investigations of Application Fraud.
**About you** Qualifications**:
- Any qualification relating to fraud, investigations or regulatory compliance is desirable
**Experience**:
- Previous banking or regulatory experience
- Experience in lending assessment (highly desirable)
- Knowledge in Financial Statement Analysis will be advantageous
**Skills & Knowledge**:
- Exceptional knowledge of Fraud investigation.
- Operational experience in a financial institution.
- Excellent time management, organisation, delegation, and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
