As our Manager Financial Crime Governance, Regulatory Engagement & Change**, **reporting to the Head of FC Governance, Regulatory Engagement, & Intelligence, you will assist in maintaining the TSEG Financial Crime engagement with AUSTRAC, as well assisting in the engagement with State regulators on Financial Crime matters, as appropriate. As part of this role you will also being involved in the operation of a range of Financial Crime Governance forums and assist in the maintenance of TSEG’s Financial Crime Obligation Library.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will ensure personal safety and the safety of other team members, contractors, labour hire, guests, and visitors through cooperation with management, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and the responsibilities outlined in the WHS Management System.
**A few of your responsibilities**:
- Assist with day-to-day functions of the Financial Crime Line 2 Goverannce team and partner with TSEG’s broader Governance team and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective Financial Crime Governance. Ensure relevant charters/terms of reference for governance forums are maintained and complied with.
- Assist with developing and maintaining a regulatory engagement plan for AUSTRAC and the relevant state-based regulators (from a FC perspective).
- Assist in the monitoring and assessment of regulatory and legislative change and maintain the FC Obligations Library.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements, innovation, and the use of best practice approaches to drive continuous improvement.
- Research and engage with industry and regulatory guidance to maintain a working knowledge of current and emerging financial crime compliance obligations.
**What we are looking for**:
- At least 4 years’ experience in a Financial Crime governance role or regulatory engagement within a casino / gaming environment, bank, government agency/regulator or law enforcement agency.
- Prior experience within a Financial Crime compliance role.
**About you**:
You are an experienced and driven financial crime professional with a track record of timely project delivery, overcoming hurdles and complex issues. You maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant statutory compliance and reporting requirements.
You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills and take a diligent and energetic approach to every task. You communicate clearly and effectively and can work both autonomously and as part of a team to achieve a common goal.
Your role will be pivotal in enhancing and maintaining TSEG’s Financial Crime Governance structure, processes, and forums.
