**The Position**

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Consultant - Anaesthetist to lead the multidisciplinary team and provide specialist anaesthetic services to patients while promoting patient safety and quality of care. The successful applicant will provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education to doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers.

**The Location**
South Australia, known for its vibrant arts scene, cultural festivals, and renowned wine regions. It's a coastal city situated on the eastern shores of Gulf St Vincent, with a population of around 1.3 million people. Adelaide is also recognized for its well-planned layout, featuring wide streets, large public squares, and numerous parks, earning it the nickname "City of Parks." The facility is located approximately 10 minutes from Adelaide CBD.

**The Hospital**
A 303-bed acute care teaching hospital offering inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and mental health services to over 250,000 residents.

**The Requirements**
To be eligible, you must be
- AHPRA registered Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or
- within 6 months of receiving the fellowship. International Medical Graduates who are Specialist Anaesthetists and have been assessed as Substantially Comparable are also welcome to apply.
