**About the Role**
Our Analyst is part of the team responsible for management and regulatory reporting of BOQ’s liquidity and interest rate risk in the banking book. You will also assist the Senior Manager, Treasury Middle Office in developing reporting in line with policy and regulations, and ensuring all reporting is accurate.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

- Measure and monitor non-traded market risk exposures against approved policy, risk appetite, limits and triggers on a daily basis
- Source, validate and reconcile balance sheet data to measure non-traded market risk
- Periodic regulatory reporting and reconciliation, including APS 117, APS 210 and APS 922
- Engage with Market Risk and the wider business to identify emerging risks and ensure they are appropriately configured in the risk system and captured in the reporting framework
Keep up to date with regulatory changes and ensure they are captured in the reporting framework
- Perform ALCO secretarial duties as required.
- Build sound and productive working relationships with internal stakeholders across the Bank.

**About you**
To be successful in this role some of the key experience and kills that we are looking for include:

- Relevant Middle Office, Market Risk, Treasury, Financial Markets or Product Control experience is desirable.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Sciences
- Some experience in banking & finance and financial markets is desirable
- Sound spreadsheet skills, ideally including macro and SQL writing ability
- Sound quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills is desirable
- Strong attention to detail, proactively checking output to ensure accuracy
- Sound product knowledge
- Some understanding of key business drivers and key success factors in business to be able to interpret P&L based on risk factors
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and to develop creative, commercially viable solutions to business problems is desirable
- General Accounting skills is desirable
