The IPA now seeks to appoint an Audit and Risk specialist on a 12 month fixed term contract
- Complete a comprehensive audit of membership and related operations and other project audits
- Coordinate an annual risk based internal audit plan for the organisation
- Prepare a detailed reports for the Audit and Risk Committee, CEO and leadership team on non financial audits, risks (including IT) and process improvements throughout the organisation to mitigate potential future risk
- Partner and communicate with departmental heads / leaders to ensure the implementation of effective controls throughout the business
- Involvement in key risk projects

Ideally you will have 3 years+ working in the audit and risk profession and seeking exposure to work and develop under the guidance of an experienced leader. You will have a track record of success in providing detailed analysis to make recommendations for improvement in business process and internal controls.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a small agile team to gain experience in whole of business audit / risk and to work closely with the senior leadership team, Board and Audit and Risk Committee.
