**IT Business Partner 12 Month Fixed Term Contract**

**The Opportunity**:
The IT Services Business Engagement Team serves as the strategic interface between IT Services and the organisation and has the overall responsibility for IT strategy development and stakeholder engagement. Reporting to the IT Services Business Engagement Manager, the IT Business Partner is crucial to understanding business requirements from varying sources across the organisation, helping identify and design best practice solutions to improve and transform organisational processes and outcomes. The position supports business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, and relationship management.

**What we are looking for?**
- Be the primary point of contact for the business in relation to IT Services.
- Collaborate with your designated business area(s) leadership or key representatives to evaluate joint initiatives and proposals to ensure alignment with established roadmaps and business priorities.
- Identify risks and issues that could impact technology delivery to your designated business area(s) or the broader organisation.
- Advocate for your designated business area(s) in relation technology advancement by communicating their strategies and priorities to help promote alignment between technology and business strategies.
- Assist in the escalation of IT service delivery issues on behalf of business unit stakeholders.
- Develop solution concepts and business cases for new or improved solutions based on the stakeholder’s needs and organisational strategy.
- Continuously review and analyse the organisation’s IT landscape and business systems to identity opportunities for improvement.

**About you?**
- Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner.
- Planning, prioritisation and organisation skills with effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and deliver outcomes effectively and efficiently.
- Good understanding of the IT industry, e.g. emerging technologies and trends, industry standards, solution architecture, and the vendor landscape.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, information technology, or another related field and/or 5 years demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of project management methodologies.
