"The Boot Factory" is a retro cafe/eatery in Melbourne's north setting high standards of food and beverage service and hospitality. The venue is located within the iconic Pentridge development that is currently undergoing significant transformation. The business has developed a reputation for its high quality seasonal menu and beverage offering.

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate hospitality Marketing and Events Coordinator on a part-time basis. We are looking for a "breath of fresh air" and someone who is experienced and motivated to work across an exciting range of projects and transform the business across several areas.

Key Areas:
Contacting and establishing relationships for further on going bookings of the conference area/Loft (Mon-Fri) as well as addressing external queries.

Managing the branding/costing and roll out of off site catering and internal conferencing packs.

Dealing with customers to price and to drive successful conversion with function bookings, managing the complete process. (utilise data base)

Marketing and content creation for social media.

Update our website - new and low cost.

Improve branding.

Have excellent computer and 3rd party software skills. Experience with Digital media.

Create new relationships with schools, clubs, corporates and members of the public.

Autonomous role with interface to the owner and key staff members

Functions-sales and bookings**. **Hospitality and/or event experience

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and passion for events and sales, high attention to detail and the ability to work well with other team members.

We are looking to invest in further upgrades and expand our overall offering and so need to bolster our marketing effort and team to take this forward. Flexible employment options.
