My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Team Leader.

As a Data Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the data team and department, with a focus on People Management, Implementation & Product Development, and Department Growth (Supporting the sales team).

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage a team of data analysts, including setting team goals and managing performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain expertise in the Google Suite, specifically Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and provide guidance to the team on best practices.
- Oversee the implementation of data tracking and reporting across various platforms and channels.
- Develop and maintain a data governance framework to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Work closely with the sales team to support department growth by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and provide recommendations for new tools, technologies, and processes.
- Audit Google Analytics (Universal and GA4) implementations to identify issues and propose solutions
- Propose and implement Measurement Plans using primarily Google Tag Manager (and associated dataLayer work), Google Analytics 4.
- Knowledge of Javascript, APIs will be required
- Implementation of third parties through Google Tag Manager
- Ability to come up with and propose unique tracking solutions where required

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- 2+ years of experience in people management and leadership.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working with large data sets and advanced data analysis techniques.
- Advanced Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager knowledge
- Knowledge of Google Suite and marketing platforms
- Advanced knowledge of Google BigQuery, SQL or similar
- Experience managing a team
