**About this role**

**Role Aim/Purpose**:
The iShares Product Specialist oversees the iShares product platform and acts as the centre of excellence for all product related information. The product specialist will manage the current range, implementing changes to continually improve all aspects of iShares ETF fund range. The role will develop and maintain product analysis and collateral to define and updated the iShares product positioning.

In addition to working with the client business, the iShares Product Strategist will work closely with Marketing, Operations, Portfolio Engineering, and technology as well as external stakeholders including index providers, external registry, exchanges and regulators to ensure the efficient operation of the iShares business.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Support the iShares platform, responding to queries and identifying areas of improvement
- Develop and maintain product collateral, presentations and customized product analyses that articulate investment objectives, characteristics, performance, and relevant competitive advantages
- Respond to enquiries from clients, business partners and internal stakeholders regarding the technical and operational features of the products
- Complete business proposals and research/consultant information requests
- Assist with the implementation of iShares product changes and new fund launches
- Partner the external registry and investment platforms to understand and improve the post purchase experience
- Ad-hoc strategic business projects

**Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required**:

- 2-3 years + relevant financial services experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative and ability to work under pressure and be comfortable taking primary responsibility for deliverables assigned
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills required. Bloomberg, Morningstar familiarity/skills a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to simplify complex investment ideas into a format applicable for relevant audiences
- Excellent attention to detail
- A strong working knowledge of ETFs preferred and a complementary understanding of other investment vehicles
- Basic programming skills in VBA or Python is an advantage
