Exploration Geologist

Patch Personnel has been engaged by an ASX listed mining company who are seeking an exploration geologist to join on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role for an
**experienced geologist** who is looking for their next challenge in a field based exploration position.

Working with the Head of Exploration, your role will consist of exploring the high mineral discovery potential of the Company's tenements, held in NE Victoria's high country. Ideally you will have prior experience in
**Lithium-Caesium-Tantalum / Tin-Tungsten pegmatite**, or
**granite-hosted mineralisation systems** would be required to fulfil this requirement.

**About the Role**
- field-based geological mapping and sampling
- supervision of the diamond & RC drilling; and sampling activities
- geological and structural logging of drill core and chip samples
- Assist in planning, managing, and implementing geoscientific data-sets (geological, geophysical and geochemical)

**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in Geology or similar
- Demonstrated knowledge of geological techniques, and methodologies pertaining to pegmatite systems (LCT, Sn-W or granite-hosted mineralization systems)
- Software familiarity with QGIS, Micromine and geological database platforms i.e. EarthSQL, Datashed or similar
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate
- Hold a Manual (C Class) drivers licence
- Enjoys an active and physically demanding position
