A leading global technology company is currently looking to hire an experienced Senior Information Security Analyst to be responsible for providing risk assessments, security advice and guidance to one of their federal government clients based in Canberra ACT.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide risk assessments, security advice and guidance to the appropriate teams and customer.
- Investigate, assess and report on the development or spread of potential information security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain awareness of trends in the development of Information Security, including through participation in industry forums
- Identify opportunities for business development within the existing client base, either through the creation of new services or through the expansion of delivered services.
- Contributing to pre-sales activities either for the team or as the Security SME for MS bids. Be prepared and able to lead the Security Services contribution to MS bids.
- Manage as part of the Incident and Problem Management team, the resolution of security incidents.

**Key Requirements**:

- At least 8 years of experience working with a large organisation such as IT Consulting, Professional Services, or Government.
- In depth knowledge of security related Network and System infrastructures.
- Demonstrate understanding of IT Security Management principles and delivery within an ITIL-based operational framework.
- Experience working in an environment in compliance with the information security standards.
- Understanding of key information security standards: ISM, DSPF/PSPF, and 27001 / 27002 standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tertiary Education, or other relevant qualifications.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP / CISM / CISA / CRISC.
