The Role
We have an exciting Permanent full-time Teacher position available to join our HVAC and Refrigeration, Educational Delivery team at TAFE Queensland's Acacia Ridge Campus.
As a TAFE Teacher in HVAC and Refrigeration, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
This position reports to the Business Manager.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess UEE32211 Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration, or equivalent, and the following:
- current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
- current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
- possession of current relevant licences (ARC licence type “RAC01 - Refrigerant handling licence” as well as QLD Restricted Electrical Licence or a QLD Electrical Licence);
- evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.
Additionally, to become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a qualification in adult education. Primarily this qualification is TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.
Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
