**Your opportunity**
In this newly created role, we are seeking a Capability Manager to join the Design & Construction division at Scentre Group. You will work with the D&C leadership team to develop and implement the D&C capability strategy that enables the Ambition and our Plan. The role will develop a capability framework for all D&C people and implement a program of learning initiatives to grow and develop our people, including digital implementation.
**A snapshot of your role**:
- Leads the thinking of the D&C leadership team on future capability needs and solutions on how to build it
- Conduct a competency evaluation of D&C team members to identify opportunities for growth and development
- Develop a program of training for new team members and their managers (induction and onboarding from Day 2 onward). Generate a D&C hub to support learning and growth
- With the Systems Manager ensure statutory compliance and leads initiatives to improve the learning requirements for all WHS training across D&C
- Develops contemporary capability uplift solutions, so that the D&C capability strategy is ahead of industry standard. Applies technology, AI and automation best practice to expedite learning outcomes
- Develop and maintain training programs, roadmaps and methods
- Facilitate training where required
- Investigate & recommend digital systems to capture D&C Capability / Development & Growth
**Industry Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Experience with training needs analysis to determine learning and development requirements
- Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of competency-based training programs
- Experience leading projects and an understanding of change management principles
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships through collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Bring in outside thinking to stimulate and expand thinking on capability and needs and solutions
- Role modelling and demonstration of the DNA
