**WeKare Disability Services** is seeking to employ a Female Disability Support Worker skilled in management of **challenging behaviours**, for the ongoing support (primarily) of a specific male participant in Cranbourne VIC. The participant will accept female support workers. WeKare has available ongoing work with additional participants, if additional hours are required by the applicant.

Applicant must be available to work during the day, evenings and weekends. Additionally, the applicant must be available for school pick up.

Mondays: 3:30pm - 7:30pm

Tuesdays: 3:30pm - 7:30pm

Wednesdays: 3:30pm -7:30pm

Saturdays: 1pm - 5pm

**The successful applicant must**:

- Have experience with challenging behaviours
- Autism

A high level of competency, initiative reliability and autonomy is required for this position.

The position is casual and ongoing with some flexibility in hours.

Mandatory Qualifications are required for this role

1. Cert III, IV in Disability or Aged Care Services

2. National/International Police Check

3. Working With Children Check

4. NDIS Screening Check

5. First Aid Certificate (incl. resuscitation)

6. Valid Driver's License and Access to an insured vehicle.

7. Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination status.

8. Introduction to the NDIS training module certificate.

The position requires the responsible delivery of a variety of support services such as; community participation and access, monitoring behaviour and the administration of medication.

Additional training may be provided by WeKare, as required, to meet participant needs.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $33.41 - $41.76 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
