Job Description**:Support Worker (Female)**

Key Responsibilities:

- **Provide Personal Care**: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- **Use of Hoist Equipment**: Safely and effectively use hoists to transfer clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- **Mobility Assistance**: Support clients with walking, positioning, and moving around the house or facility.
- **Health Monitoring**: Observe and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate medical professionals.
- **Companionship**: Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, enhancing their quality of life.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily activities, health changes, and any incidents.
- **Communication**: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in personal care and using hoist equipment.
- **Certification**: Relevant certification in support work or aged care is preferred.
- **Compassionate Nature**: Demonstrated empathy and compassion for individuals with disabilities or health issues.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.50 - $38.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
