About the School
Gumdale State School caters for students from Prep to Year 6. We are sited on almost seven hectares of land in a semi-rural area in the outer Brisbane metropolitan area. The Gumdale community is a mixture of acreage style and urban living, contributing to unique activities and experiences and quality education, which add greatly to the character of our school.
About the Role
As the Deputy Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
Promote socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
Build partnerships with students, parents, agencies, community groups.
Be future-oriented and strategic.
Understand policies and legislation affecting the department.
Manage department resources to achieve goals.
