- We are a medical couple with a 2 year old girl and 4 month old son. We have recently moved to Brisbane, and we require care when Mum returns to work in February.

**Your Duties**:

- Responsibilities:

- Supervising and ensuring the children's safety and wellbeing at all times
- Planning, coordinating and providing age-appropriate, varied and engaging indoor/outdoor play and other activities that support the children's interests, growth and development
- Transporting the children to and from activities outside of the home
- Planning and preparing age-appropriate nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for the toddler, and bottle-feeding the infant
- Supporting the children's naps in a flexible and responsive manner
- Washing, drying, folding and organising the children's clothing and linens
- Attending to the children's toileting and hygiene needs (e.g. changing nappy, toilet training, bathing)
- Child-related tidying and light cleaning (e.g. sanitising the changing station, keeping children's rooms clean and tidy, changing cot bedding, cleaning up after the children's meals or play sessions)
- Assistance with light household chores if time permits after completing child-related duties

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- Location: West End, QLD 4101
- Hours/Days: 7AM-6PM Tuesday + Friday, with potential for additional days moving forward
- Starting Date: Late January 2025
- Remuneration: $30-35/hr depending on plus penalty/overtime rates if applicable and paid leave entitlements in accordance with the Industrial Award
- Employment type: Fixed-term part-time (22 hrs/week) Essential criteria:

- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Formal qualification in early childhood education or related field, with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills to guide and support childhood physical, emotional, cognitive, social and functional development
- Minimum 12 months (full-time equivalent) experience as a professional nanny or early childhood educator working with children under 2 years of age
- Minimum 2 professional references
- Must have a full driver license with own car and child seat
- Must have cleared Police Check/National Criminal Record Check and Blue Card/Working With Children Check
- Must have current first aid certificate including CPR
