**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities of the role**:

- Run daily reports, monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders accordingly and in a timely manner.
- Coordination / monitoring and expediting outstanding orders as priority.
- Arrange supplier quotes and enquiries of both new and existing products.
- Identify efficiencies and cost savings through supplier negotiations.
- Daily administration requirements of the purchasing department, including daily maintenance of our inventory database.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments as required to provide excellent service for all key stakeholders.
- Investigating and actioning quality control and quality claims through internal and external communications.
- Assist in the reduction of slow-moving stock.
- Overseas importing including but not limited to sourcing, ordering, collating importing shipments.
- Review and process purchase order/invoice variations including justification to approval notes.
- Maintain and build relationships with suppliers.

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- Ideally previous experience in a similar role in purchasing
- Ability to set priorities, accommodate variable workloads and meet daily deadlines
- Attention to detail, reliability, flexibility, and good communication skills
- Problem solving abilities
- A continuous improvement and innovative mindset
- Proven negotiating abilities, commercial acumen and sound influencing skills
- Pronto / Microsoft D365 preferred but not essential
