Lawson Elliott Recruitment is excited be working with a well-established & growing national organisation. This company is the largest wholesaler for their category with warehouses located nationwide to ensure they provide their clients with the best service and highest quality products possible.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident Credit Officer to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are definitely not limited to:
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Reviewing process of customer’s existing accounts to determine a customer’s current credit status
- File paperwork regarding disputed accounts
- Performing debt recovery processes & negotiate payment plans with customers
- Take required action to recover payments where customers are in default
- Identifying and allocating received payments
- Set up, manage & update customer accounts in the data base
- Assist with month end reporting
- Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
To be considered for this role:
- Proven work experience as a Credit Officer or similar role
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to listen to customers and negotiate solutions
- Exceptional verbal, written & customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to use & create spreadsheets to assist with your day to day tasks
- Strong analytical & numeracy skills
- Ability to listen to customers and negotiate solutions.
