**Marketing Data Analyst - NSW Government Department**

Contract: 9 months (with potential to extend)

Pay Rate: $499 per day + Super

Hours: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week

Location: Hybrid Opportunity which has multiple offices across NSW.

**About the role;**
A Government Department are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst that can support the Brand Experience team with insights and dashboard and reporting development.

**Responsibilities;**
- Analysing customer behaviour and customer data to inform marketing planning and campaign development.
- Investigating data trends to understand underlying factors and causes.
- Using SQL to extract and transform data across customer and marketing data.
- Developing new dashboards and making improvements to Power Bi dashboards
- Auditing data and insights for accuracy and consistency
- Preparing reports and presentations.

**Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a data analytics role using Power BI and SQL within a marketing or sales environment.**

**Relevant skills and experience**:

- Comfortable in a complex data environment and understanding of data structures.
- Ability to find insights and recommendations using data from multiple sources.
- Curious and driven to find solutions.
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of Python, R or Google Analytics desirable but not a requirement
