**The Opportunity**:
Our client **Turbo Systems Australia**, based in **Seven Hills** in Sydney, is currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice who has a genuine passion for mechanical fitting and is looking for an opportunity to start or continue an apprenticeship.
They are happy to look at a first-year apprentice looking to start through to a 3rd year looking to complete their apprenticeship.
Turbo Systems Australia is a subsidiary of **Accelleron**, a Swiss based Turbo Charger producer with around 100 years of experience in the field and specialises in developing, producing, and servicing turbochargers for engines across various sectors including marine, energy and rail.
**Job Details**:
You will be involved in a wide range of hands-on activities that involve the dismantling and assembly of turbochargers including:
- Inspection of components
- Machining of parts
- Sandblasting and washing components
- Painting of parts
- Rigging
Turbo Systems Australia is happy to train their apprentices in rigging, dogging, forklift, Elevating Work Platforms, and Working at Heights. If you have tickets or licences in any of these it will be highly regarded, however is not necessary.
Undertaking this **four-year apprenticeship** will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter and earn your **MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade**.
