Technical Executive

WSP delivers a diverse range of industry-leading projects for our clients, ranging in value, scope and complexity. This opportunity is for a **National lead** for the delivery of engineering services on the firm’s airport infrastructure projects across all business lines.

You will contribute to the establishment and growth of an aviation delivery team providing landside/airside and terminal design service through a small dedicated aviation team and accessing broader aviation capability within WSP nationally and internationally. You will be an established aviation professional in the Australian market with existing client relationships and market knowledge of potential opportunities.

This role presents an opportunity to shape the growth and strategy of the Australian Aviation Business within a well-recognised and respected national multi-disciplinary firm with a global scale and reach.

**Experience, skills and organisational knowledge**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Transportation, Mathematics or other equivalent studies
- Have a strong track record of delivering aviation projects within Australia over the past 15+ years with a focus on civil airside and/or landside multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Take pride in your ability to provide engineering services to airport clients with a “winner-doer” mindset
- Have experience leading, nurturing and coordinating other engineers with varying capabilities in a consultant environment
- Established track record of delivery excellence and nurturing/managing client relationships
- Located on the East Coast (Sydney Melbourne Brisbane)
- Relevant licenses, cards and training that meet client and legislative requirements. Ideally chartered status CPENG.
- Expert in your field with broad experience in providing key technical expertise across a wide range of diverse and complex projects.
- Highly competent in managing risk on substantial projects.
- Consistently demonstrated multiple instances of delivering the best client outcomes/options which have saved the client cost/ time and prevented community problems.
- Proven ability to prepare and review complex technical project reports, pursuits and proposals.
- Successfully established and led high-performing teams (including virtual and remote employees) that deliver sustainable and profitable business outcomes.
